Please Give Generously
For many decades, the Association has given back to the culinary profession, and we strive to continue this tradition. We believe recognizing a student’s talent and passion early on is the key to a better, brighter future.
Founded to advance the professional growth of chefs and strengthen the culinary community, the Chefs de Cuisine Association of America Scholarship Foundation, Inc. brings together accomplished culinary leaders committed to mentorship, education and elevating standards across the industry. Through networking and advocacy, the Association supports both established chefs and those entering the profession.
The Scholarship Fund supports our local culinary institutions of higher learning, such as the New York City College of Technology (City Tech – CUNY) Hospitality Management Department. We attend their annual commencement ceremony, which is preceded by a luncheon prepared and served by the graduating class. At that event, we recognize outstanding students with scholarships and awards from our organization, encouraging them to progress and hone their skills in their chosen profession.
If you work with your hands, you are a laborer.
If you work with your hands and your mind, you are a craftsman.
But if you work with your hands, your mind and your heart, you are an artist.
Let’s all strive to have these three traits accompany us into our kitchens throughout our careers and then, pay it forward to the next generation of culinarians who will pick up the mantle from us.
